they work really good for locating enemies foot steps, reloads doors

The surround is the best I have experienced in any headset I have owned. I can hear people coming a mile away in COD WW2. I know what direction, how far they are from me, and when to strike. It definitely gives you a upper hand.

I don't usually turn on the foot step preset, but with regular mode, foot steps show up fine, but probably not would you'd consider class leading in the regard. I'm sure the other presets would make it more pronounced.

Please try again later.I haven’t played the new COD game but I do play siege and I can say enabling Dolby Atmos with the headset should definitely make all sounds come from where they are coming from as long as the game supports it. With R6 Siege I can hear directionally every detail to such an extent that sounds can be hard to pinpoint based on the environment.
