You have to PAIR the headset. Push the power switch up past the on position hold it for a few seconds then let go. It will say paired in the headset when it’s complete.

Once you do that, make sure that you have the adapter plugged into a USB port that supplies sufficient voltage. If you are using them for Xbox, you may need to perform a hard reset on the console, and then go back into Settings, and ensure that you have your headphone settings correct.

We are sorry to hear about your experience, lets try the following reset first: 1) Disconnect the receiver from your device. 2) Turn on your headphones. 3) Hold the power switch all the way up and let go once you hear "pairing". 4) Connect the receiver. 5) Press and hold its button until the LED flashes. 6) Wait for the connection to establish and test. This will reset the wireless connection and most likely take care of the issue. If the receiver is still not lighting up or properly connecting, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 855-765-7878, additionally, you have a 1 year warranty from the purchase date, if needed.
