Hi Angel, We apologize you had an issue using the RIG 900 Max. This wireless headset is compatible with PlayStation PS4 and PS5 as well as docked Nintendo Switch via the wireless transmitter or undocked via Bluetooth. And many other devices. On the wireless transmitter, there is a switch. When set to the console controller symbol, it's in Xbox mode. The switch will only be in this position for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. When the switch is set to "PC", it works on all other platforms. This is described in the included Quick Start Guide. Please note, Bluetooth mode is for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices like iPhone and Android smartphones. Bluetooth is not for connection to Xbox or PlayStation. For that, you want to use the 2.4GHz digital wireless transmitter for lag-free gaming audio. We hope that helps. Thank you for choosing RIG gaming audio from Nacon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to get the 900 MAX HX to work on PS5 by doing these steps. Change the switch on the dongle to PC, then plug the dongle into the charge base. Then with the usb cord plugged in from the charge base to PS5, you should notice a solid light on the dongle. Turn on the headset, and press the bluetooth button until you hear GAME. In the PS5 Sound menu, you should see RIG 900 MAX HX and should hear sound. After you have established sound through the headset, you'll no longer need to have the dongle plugged into the base. Just plug the dongle into any usb port on the PS5. Would never have figured this out from the quick start guide or the videos from RIG.
