There is a difference between 5G internet (Verizon Cellular for example) and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Since these are Wi-Fi devices, I assume you are referring to 5 GHz Wi-Fi, so NO, it does not. 2.4 GHz only. However, if the device is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, it can them use 5G Cellular Internet to communicate with the Ring Cloud Services. Although better range, 2.4 GHz has limited channels, so multiple devices will be competing for bandwidth.

Some Ring devices can operate using a 5 GHz signal, which has more bandwidth and faster speeds but a shorter range.
