“I want to put some of the sensors in my garage and some sensors in my house but the garage has a separate WiFi from my house WiFi. Does that cause any complications?”

Yes, having separate WiFi networks could cause connectivity issues. The Ring Alarm system needs all components (Base Station, Keypad, and sensors) to communicate over the same network. If your garage and house are on different WiFi networks, this may impact the system’s functionality

It supports both Classic Z-Wave and Z-Wave Long Range. Z-Wave Long Range capable controllers can include this device as a device in the network.
