• Hi Tony, Good question! Yes, the Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Gen) will work with the original Ring Alarm. Replacing your old keypad is an easy process. Before you begin, make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed. Then you will want to remove your old keypad.
