    • Answer 2.4 for sure and if you need help contact your internet provider and they will be able to assist you with switching your WiFi to 2.4. I ran through this same issue and was able to set mine up with their assistance

  • QuestionDo you sell an adapter to be able to use with the existing Ring 1st generation mount so you don’t have to drill more holes into the brick?

    • Answer Box comes with two mounting plates. Secure it by drilling into the brick, or someone could easily steal your doorbell. I would not trust an adhesive tape for securing the unit to a brick.

    • Answer I don’t know about inserting a memory chip but I don’t think you can do that. After the free trial you will want to subscribe to their monthly plan (I pay $99 annually). Otherwise the camera is not going to work.
