• Both, really. There's an outside piece with the camera and chime button, and the inside with the battery. Both halves are connected through the existing peephole in your door.

• You can mount it on the outside door of your condo, apartment or house. I replace your regular peephole and does much more

• Both. The camera, sensor and peephole mount outside and the other end of the peephole and battery pack mount on the inside.

• The camera has two parts one inside and the other outside. There is a locking mechanism inside to prevent theft.
