The account can only be tied to ONE phone, that is it set up on. Someone else can be signed on with their own phone, as a guest. But the original phone has to give permission for someone to sign on as a guest. But the guest can not do certain things like delete videos, change camera settings, etc. Of course, the original account phone/owner has to have a subscription to save any videos...up to 60 days worth.

As the account owner, you have control over all of the settings on your Ring devices. If you want to use multiple electronic devices (tablet, another phone, etc.) to control your Ring devices, download the Ring app onto the additional devices and use the same login and password you used to log into the Ring app. With a Ring Protect subscription or trial, the account owner and shared users can view recorded videos and video history. You can access your video history from the Ring app or on ring.com. Ring videos are stored in the cloud for up to 60 days in the U.S. (30 days outside the U.S.). Here is a helpful article regarding account ownership and shared user access: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/211018223-Allowing-Access-to-Shared-Users-and-Controlling-Ring-Devices-with-Multiple-Electronic-Devices. In this case, it sounds like your friend will have to remove all the devices from her app. Then you can re-set them up on your phone with your Ring app login information, and you will be the sole owner: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038010351-I-Would-Like-to-Take-Over-Change-Ownership-of-Ring-Devices.
