“Looking for a camera that will detect motion of someone entering a room, record it to a SD card, has a power adapter or plugs in. It is needed to record if abuse is happening to my mother in a nursing home. Does Ring have such a camera?”

The camera doesn’t take an sd card but all the footage is uploaded to your mobile phone ring app and you can send that footage or share the stream with others
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't know about the legalities involved but Ring Indoor would certainly work. Remember you'd pick up every movement including her's. Your app would go off each time unless you set it otherwise. Recording capability is excellent for about $3/year.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure if you can save it to an SD card but you can save the video to the Ring cloud platform to be viewed at any time. You just need a subscription with them that is approximately $3 a month.
