• I think it depends, I am not sure if the cold will affect it since its a smaller version. The camera itself since there is no weathering in a garage, it will hold up just fine in my opinion. There is a version of this camera made for the outside, which is only like $40 more and I think your better off using this outside version.

• I have had the indoor cam in my garage for two years and have not had any problems. I believe that as long as it is protected from the elements it will be fine.
