A:Answer Yes, the motion distance is adjustable and the camera itself is fully adjustable in all directions…. and yes, I have mine connected to not only my phone, but several other outside cameras, floodlights and my Echo devices, when it detects motion. Keep in mind, you need a RING bridge which is sold separately in order for the to work. I attached pictures of the bridge.
