I have all different ones the only battery I’ve seen sides the solar I have both my solar are on the ones that are permanently up that I can’t really reach easy. Otherwise I use the batteries and I only bought one extra battery and I just change them out and I don’t have to do that very often And I’ll tell you when it’s low

You can also attach a solar panel to the back the ring doorbell 4 to charge your battery constantly so you would not need to be swapping batteries often.

Great question. Yes, the Ring Rechargeable battery works with the Ring Video Doorbell 4. Your Video Doorbell 4 battery is charged using a common micro-USB cable (an orange one is included in your Ring box). The micro-USB cable can be plugged into any USB power source such as a computer. Your battery will take around six to 8 hours to fully charge depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet.
