Hello Ginger, If you're installing a Ring Doorbell on a house with aluminum siding or in a house where the door is atop a set of stairs you can use a wedge kit to properly position the Ring Video Doorbell to catch visitor motion but minimize "false positive" motion alerts. There is also a corner kit for your Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) which allows you to adjust your viewing angle by 15, 30 or 45 degrees. Both of these situations require the use of a wedge kit to properly angle your Ring Video Doorbell to catch the motions you want while avoiding the motions you don't. This article will briefly explain how your Ring Video Doorbell sees the world and how to use your wedge kit: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041189931-Using-a-Wedge-Kit-to-Properly-Position-your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2020-release-. For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out on our community forum at https://community.ring.com/. Thanks, Alexis with Ring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the camera has a wide view, it is not adjustable. You will get a notification according to your settings, you can also go to live view to look outside. I can see most of my front yard and on to across the street. I really like it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera is not adjustable. It does have a good wide angle view. I have seen on other sights that you can purchase a wedge or corner type mount.
