Works great. Held off for the longest time. Everyone seemed to have one, so I was curious & decided to jump on the band wagon. Decided to go with Ring because 1. It’s everywhere; great adoption rate. 2. Didn’t like that there was an annual fee, but the fees would help in one of 2 ways: A. You get access to your recording. One less thing you have to worry about. No need to buy your own storage medium/external device. B. The fees would help Ring further develop their product & help improve it over time; thereby helping to prolong lifeline of the product for years to come. 3. Ease of use. I needed something that was easy to operate for myself and the family. 4. The app is easy to use & well designed. 5. I get lots of package deliveries & solicitations. This helped to see who was at the door. 6. It helps to see when family members come and go. 7. Works great with iPhone & Apple watch. It’s nice to get the notifications on my watch while at work & not having access to my phone. 8. It’s a great product.

Easy set up, good clear sounds, user friendly. Long battery life

This was my first doorbell ring camera and it will not be my last. It works surprisingly well. I will be purchasing another very soon.

Battery life not how I’d like but other than that, it does its job. No regrets. Would purchase again if need be.

At first I was hesitate buying this camera because I was looking at another camera. A month later I am very glad I bought it. Sometimes I get a delay but it’s a 2 or 3 second delay. Video quality is good. I like that I can pause the video & zoom in. Easy installation too. I have yet to charge the battery & again it’s been a month. I recommend this camera. I plan on purchasing the annual plan because it will be worth it.

My apartment doorbell didn’t function at all and being on the second floor is frustrating because you can’t really hear someone knocking or sometimes even coming into the apartment. This has fixed all of those issues because I can see everything approaching my porch. It was pretty easy to install myself (I would recommend a power drill and having a flat portion of your siding to install) and the set up was incredibly easy. The chime is customizable which is nice and loud enough to hear. It’s been installed for a month with no low battery notifications, which to charge you just have to detach from the bracket and it comes with a cable to charge. I honestly love it, I highly recommend restricting your motion detection area however or you’ll be notified far too often for every little thing. The community feature is nice for some people, however, it is probably annoying to people who don’t care about what’s going on in the surrounding area. Overall, great value and easy to use and certainly fixed what I needed it to fix.

We were looking for something replace our traditional wireless doorbell and decided to try a video doorbell. We decided on this version because there are no wires running to our current doorbell. Installation was VERY easy and since purchasing it I have not had to charge it (mind you, I have the sensitivity level set to low). The set up using the app is straight forward; the doorbell and the chime have to be setup separately. My one gripe is that I wish it had Google integration, but I knew it did not going into it.

Love love love my Ring Camera. My ONLY complaint is that the battery runs out quick ( depending on the setting you have it on ) and I've yet to buy a solar panel for it for optimal battery life so I totally suggest buying that along with the ring camera so you have a longer battery life Still an amazing product !

I finally got myself a Ring doorbell. Mine came with the Chime. It takes good videos and you can link other devices to it. At this time I only have the wireless doorbell and the Chime. The Chime adds another "ring" whenever there is motion or someone rings your doorbell. If I am not mistaken, it also enhances your wifi-connection from your router to your doorbell. There are so many settings you can play with, and I am still learning. I am very satisfied with this. It was very simple to install with 2 screws. It's easy to remove the face plate when you need to charge it via USB. My only complaint is the few seconds delay when someone rings your doorbell. The notification to the phone takes a few seconds to open the app and talk to the person at the door.

Love this camera, battery life is great. The option to be able to see who's at my door even if I'm not home is great.

Love!!! Best investment ever. Camera works great day or night, sound quality as well. Can lag a bit but not enough to be considered a problem. Easy to setup and install. I love the fact that the subscription service is optional. You can choose to subscribe or self-monitor, depending or your needs. I will definitely be purchasing more Ring products!!!

If you go to the Ring website, this one is called Video Doorbell 2020 release. What does that mean? - It comes with a battery. You want this, because if the power goes out, your camera will still operate for however many hours/days. - It comes with terminals to connect your existing doorbell wiring to it. Your doorbell wiring is what constantly charges the battery in the doorbell, so there's no need to manually charge your doorbell every few days (which is SUPER inconvenient when compared to the standard video doorbell models). - The chime is $30, but this bundle offers it for $20. Whether you need the chime is up to you; I got it because I like having the doorbell sound for the backyard, because otherwise my regular door chime sound doesn't make it outside. If your regular door chime is plenty loud enough, then don't worry about it. - This version comes with adjustable motion zones, which is very helpful if you're in view of a street. One helpful note for those who are new to video doorbells: my parents house had a stock AT&T access point, and the wifi was weak by the front door. I paired this with a TP-Link mesh router and it solved the problem immediately.

Purchased this item in March 2021. Excellent product. Easy to install, amazing camera lens. I have a side door bell, and you can still see a large area of the door and driveway. Once it is linked to the phone, it automatically alerts you when someone is at the door. Linked it to Alexa and it works very well. Very pleased with the quality of the doorbell and the price. I have recommended this product to several family members and friends.

Remarkably easy to set up, the Ring doorbell with chime, now that it’s up and going, has provided a few moments of near giddiness from the added dimension of security and information it provides, sometimes from vast distances, just by keeping you connected to and in direct communication with (if you choose) what’s happening outside your front door in real-time. From the recorded sequences to the “Live View” feature, it’s been a total net positive, and well worth the cost. I anticipate we’ll be expanding the Ring system before long. You should too.

I’ve had this doorbell for almost a month now. We live at an apartment building so we thought it would be a good idea to have this video doorbell to keep an eye on our place. I guess I’m going to have to pay monthly to be able to keep certain features like being able to keep video recordings. I mean for $130, I would’ve thought that would be something already included, but I didn’t know that until after purchase. You get 30 days free of video recordings & being able to share them. Also this door bell sometimes gets disconnected to the WiFi, so then you’re not able to get alerts & the live recordings lag a bit when your not on WiFi or if the WiFi doesn’t have good signal, which I see as a safety problem, Because what if it something happens & you’re not home, you’re trying to watch the live video on your phone but the video won’t load, so you’ve missed what was going on. For the price of this doorbell it would be great if these simple things were improved. Overall I would recommend to a friend. The idea & features of this doorbell is great, it just could use a little improvements. Also I have to get use to having neighbors because when you are setting up the “motion zone setting” it alerts me when they are outside, I’ve tried to make my zone smaller so it won’t alert me as much, but we don’t have much walking space to our apartment & they walk close to our side, so oh well.

I bought one for myself after being a victim of porch piracy. I like being able to capture everything going on near my front door, and being able to watch and share the footage. I also like that the included chime device works as a regular doorbell for when my phone is disconnected from the internet. I like this so much, I bought another one for my family for Christmas.
