• The cord it comes with is pretty long, at least 10 feet. Radio shack did sell the extender, but they are closed and you have to electrical tape the connection if it is open to the elements.

• The specs on the Best Buy description shows the cable at 5feet long. I would also be interested in a longer cable.

• I don't know if there is a longer cord. The one that it comes with looks to be about 6 feet.
