“Can I use this camera on my deck and Manually turn off the light sensor? If I am on my deck with family and friends, I do not want the motion light to continuously turn on. Please let me know. Thanks!”

Yes you can. On your Ring app go to devices select the deck camera then click off light. When done with your activity you can turn light back on.

If you set it for home you can then set it to not record while in that mode and light will not turn on and will not record you while you are on your deck. When you leave your deck you can switch the mode to away which you would have set to record videos and it would start recording any movement in the cameras range.
