Hello, As long as the previous owner has properly removed the devices you purchased from their Ring app and released ownership of the devices, you will be able to set them up in your Ring app on your own account. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you buy the ring brand new you download the ring app. You then pull a little tab from the device which activates the scanning process. You then give the device a name and a location address. The previous owner would have had to decommission the device and delete it from its location. Your best bet will be go to ring.com and ask the experts
