A:AnswerI have both. The spotlights provide their own light but they also have decent night vision. The new stick up camera wired has great night vision. It gets a great view of my front lawn and the picture is very clear with the ambient light from a streetlight from the curb. Both are very good options but I think the stick up camera may be slightly better and probably easier to setup with more mounting and setup options.
A:AnswerI bought it because of the light and it's seems good when I'm physically out there and it's on, but it doesn't do a very good job through the camera.
A:AnswerYes, you will. The cord for the wired cameras are fairly long. Something to consider though, if the outlets in your eaves are on a switch, the switch will have to remain in the on position always in order to keep power to the cameras.
A:AnswerAlso works with Android devices. You also have the ability to view your recording on a PC. Mobile devices allow you to see Live View, PC does not have the Live View option.
A:AnswerMy guess it would depend on motion setting which would determine frequency of recording therefore giving the amount of usage each month. But with no internet and using hotspot not sure you would get the desired speed and effectiveness. Ask a friend to try it with their hotspot you buy and have a return policy of like 14 days.
