A:AnswerHi Vince,
Thanks for reaching out.
You are able to manually control your Spotlights through your free Ring app. Additionally, we do have a "Motion Scheduling" feature. The Motion Scheduling Feature allows you to schedule periods of time when you do not want to receive motion alerts. If, for example, you know that the trash is picked up every Tuesday between 7:30 and 7:45 AM, you may want to shut down motion alerts during that time.
If you have any additional questions please feel free to email me at [email protected].

A:AnswerThe spot light has no button that activates your door bell. Both are similar but the ring doorbell does not have a spot light nor a siren. The spot light cam doesn’t have a door bell button, although both devices can be used to used to communicate remotely.
A:AnswerIt will most definitely blind someone. Mine did not come with a stand. But it would be easy to mount it to something, even if just temporary. I would imaging you could mount to a tripod with easy modifications. It if you go to this trouble why not get the indoor version.
A:AnswerApproximately 24 feet. Basing this on one of the units I have placed over backyard screen porch. Screen has depth of 12 feet. I have the wiring running along top of screen then down the side. I still had some slack before plugging into my exterior outlet. The one I have mounted over garage there was actually too much cord. I used the provided cord mounts to have a clean line from outside into the garage ceiling. Power is plugged in with outlet for garage opener. The slack I have wrapped and tied up along with power cord for garage opener.
