- Answer This device runs off batteries. It comes with one and I purchased an additional battery. I also attached a solar panel to it which was a ring product. It works extremely well and the batteries never drain

QuestionWhat is the equivalent light bulb in watts that this device emits? Read another post and 375 lumens is equal to 25 watts...that seems dim. How far does the light illuminate (10ft, 20ft, etc)?

QuestionWhat is the difference between this hardwired spotlight cam and the Ring Spotlight hardwired Cam that sells for $50 less.

- Answer The $50 more one is actually hard wired. The other one is a cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet.

- Answer No. There are 2 types (that I know about). One comes with a plug to fit into an outlet and the other (the one we bought) is hard-wired and connected to a switch inside the house.

- Answer This item needs to be hardwired into something such as replacing an existing light fixture. It does not plug into an AC outlet or run a battery. I would say you need to ask your landlord.
