The WiFi range really depends more on your wireless router than the Ring device. My furthest device is about 60 feet from the router and works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine are 30-50 ft from my Apple Time Capsule router and work just fine. More a function of how strong your WiFi router is than anything else. Use your phone and walk to the area you'd like to hang it and that will give you a reasonable idea of signal strength.

I have 2 of these cams and one is outback about a good 24 feet from the house and the other is mounted on my garage. They both do pretty well with a wifi extender. It doesn't always connect right away to view live, but the detection of motion and the capturing of the video seems to work flawlessly every time.
