It definitely lasts a long time. The battery lasts for at least a couple months before needing to recharge. It's a lithium ion battery and the cam comes with a USB charging cable. Takes a few hours to charge from 0-100%. If you choose to, you can install the cam in an easy snap-out base that makes it very easy to get the cam down and back in during chargings. We've had great results with ours - I highly recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have invested about $649.00 for 4 of these security cameras. Battery life depends on the motion & Live activity. I have 3 outside & 1 inside. All of mine (battery life) last about 2 1/2 Weeks not months. I do like mine but you also need good speed on your Wifi as that is what they connect to,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When we first got the Ring stick up camera we did the live views all the time, plus the motion alerts were on frequent notifications. It took about 1-1/2 weeks for the battery to get to 50%, and when it is that low it takes longer to activate the camera. We finally bought the Ring solar panel and by the end of the day it may be down to 92%, but by the end of the next morning it is charged back up to 100%. We now don't have to worry about the battery being too low when we are away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We bought the solar panel for $50 to charge it so we don't have to worry. Best Buy ordered it for us arrived 2 days we able get it up super easy highly recommend getting solar panel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery is internal and not swappable. The more it records the faster the battery will drain. I have read that it can go 6 months with a steady daily recording up to 1 year with weekly notification. Good thing is, pull it down and full charge it back up in less than 3 hours.
