Q: QuestionDoes this have a battery backup? In case of power loss.
Asked by Nicki.
- A:Answer Hi Nicki. Great question. The Stick Up Cam Plug-in comes with an indoor/outdoor power adapter that uses standard power outlets for nonstop power, but you can use a Quick Release Battery Pack (sold separately) for backup power. The Ring Stick Up Camera Wired does require a wifi connection. In the event your power goes out, this may cause your wifi to go out as well. Q: QuestionWhen wall mounted, can the camera be adjusted to the left or right? How much, if any, can it swivel?
Asked by Jiffy.
- A:Answer YES, instead of attaching at the bottom, you attach at the back and then you can swivel up and down. due to the wide field of view, it is enough movement to capture left and right, whatever area of interest to you. Mine is above my garage door and focuses down the drive way to see who is coming up...and captures road and sidewalk action.
