It will connect with either a plug (outdoor also) or ethernet cable that is powered by POE Switch. Which means you would not need to have an outlet to plug power cord into. Here is a switch that I bought. NETGEAR JGS516PE-100NAS 16-Port Gigabit Rackmount Smart Managed Plus Switch, 85w 8xPoE, ProSAFE Lifetime Protection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can connect to your router through Wi-Fi, meaning you have to have access to Wi-Fi service. Then download the free app, setup . Great little cameras....good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can choose to connect to the internet wired or wirelessly. However, the camera must get power by wire regardless of which method you use. Either by plugging into a wall socket, a USB port, or gets power from an ethernet connection. If you choose to use an ethernet connection the camera doesn’t have to be in the same room as the router. You could run the cable through the attic from the camera to the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By wired, they mean wall plug. You can plug it into any wall outlet in the house. And then connect wirelessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera has wifi capabilities. The wire is for power, so it has to be connect to an outlet. It can also be powered via the ethernet cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Run the Ethernet cable through the walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only wire on mine is for power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can plug it in and use wierles connection or for a better connection I bought the goggles set of 3 wierles routers for around the house for better connections everywhere
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."wired" refers to the way it is powered, not the way it is networked. You connect it wirelessly to your wifi network to send and receive data to it, but you plug it into any power outlet in the room in which you'd like to place it. Ideally you want to put it in a location where you have decent wifi strength though
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
