Does it work with google assistant? null

No, I would like the same capability. I’ve contacted support and requested this capability.

Not as much as it does with Alexa. Google home you can only set it to record or turn off alerts. Cant use it to bring up on the TV with the chrome cast. The CEO stated they are open to working with other platforms and will work with Google more but unknown when.
