A:AnswerI have both. WIred will offer (in theory) a more reliable and faster connection, much like having a computer wired on the network vs. wireless connection. When it is possible I choose a wired connection and use wireless when it is logistically not possible.
A:AnswerI can't speak to mounting of the camera and durability. I have a solar panel form my Ring doorbell and gets only about 3 hours of sunlight each day and is more than enough to keep it charged, even on cloudy days. Over the long run, it keeps it charged to 90% or more consistently.
A:AnswerI think it is a Wifi device. You have to connect it to your Wifi which then sends the signal to your phone app.
Range is not an issue. the app works where ever you are.
