Hi Jen, Yes, the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus may be connected to the main entrance of an apartment building with sufficient wifi connection. We recommend having an upload and download speed of 2 Mbps at the mounting location of your doorbell. Additionally, if you wish to add specific tenants to the Ring Doorbell 3 Plus, you may add them as Shared Users. This allows those users to see and speak to visitors, as well as receive alerts of doorbell dings and motion notifications. Furthermore, we offer a solution called Ring for Business.
