Hey Robert. I had the old ring as well, i do believe the doorbell 3 is a lot better. We have a much clearer picture through the whole day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Ring 3 Plus and used to have the Ring 2. My porch has an overhang as well but I have no issues with past it, all the way out to the street on the video. Of course, at nighttime, you can't see much the further you look.
