• Best Buy is offering a bundle with the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus and the Amazon - Echo Show 5. Can you use the Echo Show 5 as the door chime also?

• No you do not need extra stuff if you have a smart phone. You can also connect your alexa dot to your ring to take place of a chime. You can pretty much connect to all alexa devices and smart phones.
