Hello Teach, The Ring Video Doorbell 3 is designed to work with a variety of existing doorbells. To find if your Ring Video Doorbell 3 is compatible with your exact make and model, we recommend consulting the Compatibility Chart from our Help Center on Ring.com: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045180971-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-Plus-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List. If you do find that your existing chime is not compatible, then you may bypass the chime and connect your Ring Doorbell to a wireless chime kit; such as the Ring Chime or Chime Pro.
