It is relatively easy to install this unit to replace an existing wired doorbell. A power drill and drill bits may be needed for a proper installation. Some handyman neighbor assistance may be helpful.

I think the benefit of not having to worry about a battery going dead while you're away, or the hassle of having to change out batteries (especially in the dead of winter) makes hard-wiring the Ring Pro worth it!!!
