• I had a previous Ring doorbell for 3 years and the button didn't wear out. As for the chime - since you use the wiring for your existing doorbell, you use the same chime.

• Hi, the answer is NO! I actually use four devices (2 lights and 2 cameras] with one chime. I also set separate sounds/alerts.
