• Your doorbell transformer must be 16V/30VA to get satisfactory performance from a mechanical doorbell with this device. I encourage you to read my review which I just posted regarding this subject. • It works with the existing door bell, the Ring Pro just taps into the power.

• Your current door bell chime will work. If you wire it correctly. Comes with instructions on how to do this.
