• I had a similar issue. I had an old transformer from the old doorbell I went to the hardware store and for 10 buck got a new transformer and the message went away.

• Your doorbell transformer probably needs to be upgraded to a 16v - 24v. Google “transformer” that’s compatible with the Ring doorbell. Hope this helps

• You may need to change your transformer. In my older home, the transformer for the doorbell was only 10 volts. Ring needs at least 20 volts. I purchased a transformer for $30 on Amazon and my handyman installed it. No more problems.
