Yes. My doorbell is hard wired where the old door bell was. It rings through my builder installed door bell inside the house. The Ring Pro came with a small device that attaches to the door bell transformer that makes it work with original equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You either use your existing doorbell, or you can buy a chime, as you put it, as an extra accessory from Ring. They do not include it as most people use their existing doorbell, or notifications on their cell phones which will ring or make any sound you choose for your doorbell notification in the app. So again, if you desire an external chime that Ring sells and plugs into the wall, you purchase it as an extra accessory. (Note, I have seen some package deals, where Ring does sell it with the unit, and it had a wifi extender with it, but the reviews were all over the board on the wifi extender, so wouldn't recommend that). Just buy the little extra chime if you need it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. When someone pushes the button the standard doorbell chime sounds in addition to the iPhone notifications. (Assuming you have a hardwired doorbell) If you don't, I believe an optional Ring chime is available.
