If you set up your base and your phone/computer/etc. to receive the motion alerts, you will get a "standard" signal. You do not need a chime. However, if you have a "regular" doorbell in the house, the wires outside will connect to that and operate it. There are lots of videos on Ring to help!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can’t have a ring pro without a pre wired system. It requires 16-24volts to operate. The ring 2 will provide you what you are asking. It has its own battery pack and will jaunt chime on your phone or you can purchase a wireless chime kit to mount on your wall as well
