If the camera can see it it will pretty much take a video and save it if you want. You open the app and set the zone/area you want to take a video. You can set up a zone just to notify you if someone steps into the square zone you set. You can also put it to notify you or just record and you can check later. You can set notify on any and all movement, only if the door bell rings or both.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - you have the option to set up motion alerts and ring alerts individually. Also you have the ability to adjust motion "zones" to exclude unwanted alerts from things like cars going down the street or tree branches rustling in the wind. I'm very pleased with the product so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As soon as it senses motion it sends you an alert and starts recording. If you answer the alert immediately you can see live what is happening. If you do not have time to reach your phone you can go back and preview the recording. You can also download the video clip to your phone and/or share it with any of your neighbors that also had a Ring account, all directly from the app on your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, when motion sensors are activated it always starts recording audio/video at that time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will. You can set up the range and area of motion. If it detects motion in that area it will start recording and you can view in your history settings the video of what set off the motion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the system will record when motion is identified. motion zones can be established so you don't get too many false positives, the only thing I have not been able to stop it doing is it tends to do a recording when our outside light automatically turns on as it is getting dark. The change in the light is recognized as movement, It captures the neighbors cat occasionally but that is okay. Other nice features are the ability to be notified to your phone on motion, on doorbell use, both or none. You can also set quiet times when you will not be notified so overnight it records but does not notify my phone, it still records though and I can review activities the next day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and you can set the range of motion activation and sensitivity
