You can try. But I was told it requires around 18-24V. Ring Support is great, they have something called as Pro Power Cable, they'll ship it to you for free if you can't get your Doorbell to turn on or have issues keeping it connected. You could try that before upgrading/changing your transformer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it has to be a minimum of either 14 or 16 volts and if it's less I don't think it will work. You can check the voltage with a volt meter. I think you can get the correct transformer too it just is more of a hassle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It asks for certain voltage and that is needed to make the Pro work. The lower level units can be run independent of the transformer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not; needs 16-24 volts DC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Found out the hard way. The answer is no. Who the heck knows what voltage your doorbell transformer is? Need at least 16 volts.
