• Don’t buy a PRO. Buy the Ring Doorbell 2. It is wireless and comes with a removable, rechargeable battery that typically lasts more than 6 months.

• If you use wireless you have a battery. Only thing is you have to change the battery when it becomes weak. But you can use it in the wireless mode.

• The Ring Video Doorbell Pro requires a wired doorbell system for power. Search the internet for Ring wireless doorbells. I believe they have 2 wireless options.
