• I don't think this would be the right product for that. It's very much a doorbell that happens to have a camera on it. It might technically work but the doorbell portion of it would be a bit odd.

• I don't see why not. Where will you get the power source (16V @ 10 VA)? We tested the Ring 2 indoors (it has a battery) and it worked okay, except for serious audio issues.
