Yes it certainly can, however it has a cover that goes over the assembly quite nicely which hides the screws. Additionally, Ring provides a Lifetime Guarantee (at least on the Ring Pro) that states they will replace it in the event of Damage or Theft. My product was damaged (Best Buys Fault) when I opened it and rather than go through Best Buy again, Ring simply replaced it for free. Their support team is awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has its own special screws that comes with the screwdriver for it. It comes with lifetime warranty in case of theft, just have to file a police report and hopefully you got a shot of the thief. It's seems pretty solid.

However, the company stated they would replace the device if stolen and a police report is taken. Also, you have the suspect on camera because the recording is saved to the cloud!
