Yes, my entryway is narrow and the camera is off to one side. I installed the Ring with 30 deg backplate to help the view a little better. It looked good with out it, but better with it.

I have mine installed at my apartment and it covers the whole front door space, meaning it would be impossible to line of sight the camera if you are standing at my doorstep. It's pretty great.
