“What type of transformer is needed?I have a 24Vac 20VA transforme but it keeps going offline at night. I watched a youtube video which says 24Vac 40VA is needed. One commenter also stated he installed a 40Vac transformer. I don't want to fry my ring pro.”

Minimum is 16v transformer. Look at device health and click on power reading, like good or very good. It will show the power reading and minimum should be around and above 4100mv. If you keep having troubles call Ring support or send them a ticket in the app. They have a power kit they will send you for free. Everything I researched showed different things needed done at different homes. Hopefully it gets resolved.

Mine is 30va and works great(found it on amazon). Make sure to call RING support they are very helpful and will take the time to work through the problem.
