“If my doorbell is currently wired to my intercom system will I need the chime box? Or will the Ring and chime box be wired into my intercom system”

• the chime box is required. there is a by pass wire to disconnect the existing doorbell system and the ring sounds on the chime box which is plugged into an outlet.
