Is this good for use in utv null

Depends if it can support the electrical load. I use a Marine Deep Cycle battery in my EV. It works good.

One review shows a customer installed it on their tractor and it worked for that. Neither a tractor or a UTV is insulated, so I expect it will work to a certain point as you'll be losing heat without insulation. It is a 300W heater so it uses 25 amps of power of your 12 volt battery. It would certainly drain that some, perhaps not being high enough capacity? If you are looking to use it as the UTV is in use, not parked, the charging system could help. From my electronic experience over many years, I'll say the challenge is if the UTV power can supply it (not if it will provide enough heat) hence your question is it good for...
