I recommend taking it back for a new one. Mine stopped turning on so I brought it back. They gave me a new one and so far no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It automatically turns off after your phone is out of range & reconnects when it's back in range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two vehicles. This is in my car. I do not turn it off unless I know I will not be using the car for a couple of days or so. The range is good so it may connect your phone if parked in your garage and you are in the house. That would run the battery down quicker, so you need to know if you are connected when you are merely parked overnight. I turn mine off when in the garage for an extended period. No battery issues yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't turned it off but that might be a good idea because mine doesn't hold a card charge long either. its quite frustrating since the only charger is through the car.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not need to turn it off when you leave your car. It has some sort of motion sensor that detects that the car is no longer running (or moving). However, I've had mine since the summer and there are times where I'll have driven 5 miles before it turns on and there have been times when I've been at a LONG stop light and it has turned off. The battery life is pretty good but I haven't been using it for many calls. It's just on just in case (hands free law just took affect in July). On a side note, the position of the power switch is such that when You grab the device to flip the power switch, I have inadvertently pressed the front button which activates Siri. "No Siri, I don't need your help right now." I can't comment on your question about power cycling it after a call as I haven't made multiple calls. Sorry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This item has automatic on/off. It turns on and connects with your mobile phone when you enter your car or turns off when you leave to help conserve energy.
