Do I need an M card with Frontier TV service ? null

This model is explicitly for ATSC over the air broadcasts only, NOT for any sort of cable service. You'd need a regular Tivo Bolt or Romio for cable (they can also do OTA too, but this one can't do cable)-and you'd have to check with Tivo (or Tivocommunity) to see whether Frontier is supported or not. If they support cable cards then they probably are.

I had ordered Suddenlink and my OTA Tivo did not accept the card. This one only works with incoming signals.
