• Yes it will function in Canada . It has tuners inside just like your TV so if you are receiving over the air broadcasts on an antenna this unit will work amazingly well. I live I Oshawa Ontario and I receive about forty five stations. Twenty or so are Canadian channels and the rest are from Buffalo N.Y.. I have an older dual tuner tivo that I've had for six / seven years and it has worked pe4fectly . All you have to do is enter into the data base your postal code so it knows where you live and it will download the appropriate tv guide for your area. Good luck / bon chance!!
