• There is a slot for cleaning solution. You do not add it to the water container itself. Cleaning solution is not that expensive and lasts quite long

• Hello, Thanks for your question. It's only suggested to add Roborock cleaning solution into the water tank. Different cleaning solution varies in formulation and it may potentailly damage the water tank. Moreover, the bubbles made by chemical substance in cleaner may cause the mopping feature to malfunction.
